my retro color memory is all about the greens, pinks and yellows... I had the coolest quilt a relative made for me and it had the pastel colors of greens, pinks and yellows... wish I knew where that quilt was now!

I'm digging the super hero prints though! And I know a little boy (my cousin Cam) who would LOVE a quilt made from it..

I love this fabric - I have a 3 year old superhero that will love it! I wasn't sure I had any retro memories until I was reading previous comments and remembered my brother's nursery (circa 1981) that was all primary colors and farm animals. I loved that room!

My favorite retro color memory is my lime green and lemon yellow bedroom in the 70s. I had wallpaper with lime green gingham and huge yellow daisies on my walls, and lime green carpet. Oh I LOVED that room!! I had a white canopy bed from Sears that I begged and begged my parents to get me and my mom made me green and yellow gingham bedding and canopy. I LOVED my lime green carpet because it looked like grass with my Barbie camper on it. Oh, such a great room. Lime green is still my favorite color and if you put it with yellow, that is my childhood, right there.

Thank you for the chance.

Household Retro = brown, brown, brown with the odd splash of yellow and orange thrown in; chocolate brown, earthy brown, unhealthy tan brown, detective raincoat brown, biscuit brown, mustard yellowy greeny brown, bourbon brown, burnt toast brown, fallen leaves brown. This adorned carpets, wall coverings, soft furnishings! The photos may as well have been sepia from that 70s era!
